trump is bad for humanity

I believed in the system and then it failed me.

Donald Trump is going to take over as President. This is how inept the people of the western developed world are. Numb, dumb and smacking gum with their ear buds in so that they can just get from point A to point B without ANY DOG MAND DISTRACTIONS!! besides that bait click headline. and that one and that one and that one.

Ok, irl I know I'm just railing against the human condition. It's pointless. This is my plight as a human with a high sensitivity and intelligence. An exchange, essentially. Especially in a day and age where these things are not valued at all over money.
Because nothing is valued over money. Really. But somethings are said to be valued over money. Like freedom? Maybe.

The system failed because the intentions of the system are not the same as those of 240 years before. Those people were trying to survive. They had been through generations of violence and understood the intrinsic value to every single human life. As much as any human can understand it. The American Revolution is a story of a whole bunch of people who hate each other figuring out how to get along. There is no possible way the people of the US today actually hate and distrust each other as much as those founding fathers and their factions. But they made it work because the alternative was death. So, if the current day lawmakers can't do better, the problem is clear. They need to value human life more than they do.

The parallels are ripe for the picking of all high school English students writing essays with titles like:
Not My President: 5 Ways Donald Trump is a 21st Century Version of Adolf Hitler

Assuming people are taught how to make accurate comparisons these days. I am not totally sure that they are. Maybe I got to be educated during some sort of golden age of reason. Or maybe it's just that high intelligence thing again. Regardless, education for all must continue. And with the internet, literacy becomes more achievable but also takes on deeper, thicker, more grotesque layers. There are limits to language. Language is a derivative of thought, so there are limits to the abilities of language to solve problems. One of those limits is the time it takes to just put the right words together.

It's a tightrope to walk a line of not trying to be annoying, or over zealous. No micro-aggressions, except against those intended to try and offend. Not trying to get paid. But still creating content that is intended to improve human existence now and in the future. Trying to say what I actually think and accepting the imperfections that come out in that effort. Respecting the energies of my body for my body.
Quickly, the systems based in technology fail me in this framework. I feel as though I am lost in the wilderness. Technology is just a machete in my hand.
But in Physical life I'm not in the wilderness  at all.And right now, for me, it seems like people are really hurting themselves with that machete more than they are helping themselves.
But maybe that is just a bubble I am in. Regardless.

The problem is that human existence now and in the future should be the most valuable thing, at least in regard to the systems that we set up to help us survive. The free market capitalist system is just one of those systems, but somehow it is the one that dictates value for every system? Such that it ruins health care systems, education systems, potable water distribution systems!, ecosystems, legal systems..... Valuing money over human existence is ruining the possibility of a prosperous future for our species.

And so is not understanding or respecting the real truth in the benefits to diversity. It is beautiful that we can fly from place to place to place. But since we have taken on the rights of having airplanes, so we must also take on the responsibility of upholding diversity.
Human beings are different colours because the sun shines on the planet differently in different places. And everything after that is what our brains and eyes did with the colours of humans before we understood how melanin worked.

We can compare cultures down to the nitty gritty for decades, it's just a divisive exercise. As a tiger I know sometimes sings: in some ways we are different but in so many ways we are the same. We have to stop separating ourselves based on surface appearance. That is a choice made out of fear, and fear based choices do not strengthen humanity. they just don't. Fear based choices only strengthens the insulation that people use to stay numb, dumb and smacking gum. We need diversity of age and culture and gender (and all the other nuanced identities that make humanity the parasitic force that it is).

White supremacy theories are incomplete pictures of humanity. They are not and never will be truth. The Patriarchal and Machismo structures that every culture pays heed to are far worse for men than they are for women. Children are just small people with problems that feel incredibly complex but can (usually) be easily solved with help. Humans have a really hard time asking and accepting help from others, but individualism is not the lifestyle it promises to be because humans are wired as relational beings. Violence solves no problems at their root and it is unnecessarily over dramatic.

I protest the way Donald J. Trump used frustration and anger involved in real problems that have absolutely nothing to do with minority cultures or the free press. I protest the way Trump turned that frustration and anger into hatred used to demonize minority cultures and the free press -these are elements of society that are necessary for the strength of my homeland. And I protest every single decision Trump has made as President Elect. Every single one. Even the ones I don't know anything about. I protest every decision with certainty that it was not made with the best interests of my homeland over any other best interests.

You can't serve money and humanity. You can't serve yourself and a country. You can't sleep and be woke. Love burns. Healing hurts. Endurance is necessary for survival.
