I call it: Kollekt

If one human meets another human living in [survival mode]
the [survival mode] human will not expect any love from anyone. It is too painful to expect love.

If one human shows love in a way that the [survival mode] human can recognize the love, then the future is abundant in healing opportunities for the [survival mode] human. 

Years worth of healing provided because of moments of love.

That is where the emotional foundation I stand on today started. I was so broken that I did not expect anything loving from any other person on the planet. I treated myself in a horrible way because I did not value my life. I did not think any one could or should. But there were people who stopped their lives to help me exist in mine, even if only for a moment, they stopped to see and hear me. Those are the moments that matter now that I am not broken anymore. So I want to facilitate those moments in other peoples lives.

"Kollekt" is a word of the vernacular from which my efforts and I currently reside. It has a different meaning from it's english counterpart spelled with c's, but both meanings have relevance to the creation of this positive social effort that I call Kollekt Project.

The point of Kollekt Project is to offer people a place to collect. People in the same place tend to find a connection, human to human. We focus on asylum seekers because in our community, these are people who need human to human connection the most.

I believe I can create an environment where moments of connection between strangers are more likely to be made. This is Kollekt House. It is my family's house. But, you can also think of it as a laboratory or maybe an art studio. The experiment in the lab, the artwork being created; it is the event bringing all the guests together. I am working on the design for an event that can facilitate moments of connection by people who have nothing on the surface in common. People who are strangers. I call it a Kollekt Party. It has to be a party! Because that is how celebrations are marked in the culture I come from and also in the culture I currently find myself living in. Plus, people generally like the idea of attending a party, it translates cultures.

 
A Kollekt Party is a celebration that treats the human race as an entire family. Humans typically give their own relations a lot of chances to get past each others surface level differences. So people who are connected because they are related find those things that make them similar instead of different. And then they bond. Throw a party to celebrate human unity and human connection by bringing together a group of people who would not ever find another way to connect. That is, at its essence, a Kollekt Party

the pain comes from the parts that are broken
the bliss comes from parts that are whole
happiness is healing broken bliss

healing is a choice
attitude while healing is a choice
choices give the illusion of control over life
there is no such thing as control over life,
just submission to the ultimate design

there is surface and there is depth.
the human body is a limiter,
an inhibitor of death
all humans give into those limitations
exclaiming hopelessness

love changes everything
cuts the binds on hope
the limited believe and find peace
the unlimited forever growing
like plants reaching to the sun

love sustains all
not one over another
money shows preference
against the survival of the human race
so why do we center our lives around it?

If I said I was in this for the money, would you know it was a joke?

I have read a lot of other peoples comment policies, and also many tips on writing them. I feel like I see blogging in a fundamentally different way from every perspective I have read thus far (maybe not @JunDishes). This is not an expression of a character for me. I am not more bold in writing than I am in real life. In real life I am bolder. I care more. I serve harder. because it's real- right there in front of my freaking face. Creation is a derivative of myself. BEING myself is way more important than anything I create. And you won't know who I am unless you read more or sign up for something. But know that I am always my real human self saying what I really think and feel. So, if while I am talking about what I am doing, I mention a specific item; I will acknowledge if I have any relationship with that Item. Blogging is not who I am. Blogging, for me, is a way to earn a little money. money that my family really needs. I am trying to help provide, while living this amazing gift of a dream life that I have. Money from this website will directly fund, Kollekt, my plans and efforts to serve asylum seekers where I live. Kollekt is also my attempt to balance working with family-ing for the first time. to balance serving others with loving myself all while loving Abraham's God more than anything else in my life. A portion of this blog will follow this Kollekt journey very closely. Failure is totally an option. If it fails, it will burn spectacularly and I will build the next project upon its ashes while documenting all the carnage and rebirth here. My prayer is that this blog is just a part of a story about a community made up of many people from all parts of the world being real with and loving to one another. Like the best parts of the internet always are.

If this blog itself is a failure, financially speaking, then I will probably not have any time or energy with which to update or create totally new! and amazing! posts anymore. I will be too busy whoring myself to any sort of opportunity dropped by the corporate world. In a direct appeal to keep from that happening: I could be your virtual assistant if you want me to! I could also actually go into actual real life whoring because it is legal where I live. Things will hopefully never get that desperate, but at least I will have protections in the law if they do. Actually, I think I might pick up a fair few tips from this blogging stuff (HA! ;)

The internet can make a decision and change a person's entire life very very quickly. A lot of responsibility comes alongside being a participant of The Internet.

This is a site focused on globally unifying human beings. Every life is valuable, every life is precious. No one life is worth more than any other. Lives are a collection of moments and experiences that can't be replicated, only understood by others. It's not just about different choices, it's about different perspectives. We want to explore different perspectives here, not shut them down. Our comments may be moderated to achieve that goal.
But our hope is to only to get rid of robot comments and leave all the human comments as they come. Or possibly move all commenting functions to reddit.
